José Manuel Parceiro Acon

I was born in Zaragoza, Spain in1967 and studied and graduated in Business Administration in Saint Louis University (USA) as well as in law in the Universidad San Pablo CEU in Madrid. Also, I hold a PhD in Economics and International Relations from the Universidad Autonoma from Madrid. In the Institute of European Studies in Madrid I graduated in International Relations and I successfully completed an MBA (Master in Business Management and Administration) in the Institute for Executive Development (IEDE). By the Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands as well as the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid, I was trained in foreign trade. I had professional longtime-assignments in six countries-United States, Germany, Denmark, Papua, Peru and Japan. Furthermore, I had short-time missions in 80 countries. I worked in higher positions in the institutional sector as, e.g. Embassy Commercial Chief as well as in private enterprises in management of exports and international investments. As expert for IDB (Inter-American Development Bank), WB or EU I led the implementation of multilateral international technical assistance projects in several locations worldwide.
